ENCHANTING CARDS
In
the summer of 1997, we were presented with 22 paintings by the
children of Nakhodka. The paintings, charming, full-color tempera
scenes of winter play with Father Frost, were a gift to the Sister
City Association. They enchanted all who saw them. We wanted to
make these delightful scenes available to as many people as possible,
so we chose six designs (no small task) to be made into postcards
and notecards. These, as well as the paintings themselves, are
now available for purchase. The cards come in packages of 12,
two each of six designs. The notecards are blank inside and come
with envelopes for $12. The postcards are $6 per package of 12.
The
paintings were on displayed during the winter of 1998-99 in Jack
London Square, the Oakland Museum, and the Museum of Children's
Art. During the winter of 1999-2000 they were displayed at the
Private Industry Council. They may be purchased at any time, and
would add a lovely winter touch to any home or office.
